These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of thearchival.store and any purchase made through it. By accessing the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. About Archival

Archival is an Indian menswear apparel brand operating exclusively online at thearchival.store. We sell directly to consumers in India.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent/guardian's permission, to place an order on this site. By placing an order, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you're authorised to use the payment method provided.

3. Products & Pricing

  • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • We make reasonable efforts to display product colours, fabric, and fit accurately, but slight variations may occur due to screen settings, lighting, and manufacturing batches.
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing or product errors, including after an order is placed, and to cancel affected orders with a full refund where this occurs.
  • Compare-at ("original") prices shown alongside a discounted price reflect a genuine reference price, not an inflated or fabricated figure.

4. Orders & Acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to purchase, not a confirmed sale. We confirm orders via email/WhatsApp once accepted. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability — in which case any payment made will be refunded in full.

5. Payments

We accept prepaid payments (UPI, cards, netbanking) and Cash on Delivery (COD), where available. Introductory or prepaid-specific discounts, where offered, are stated clearly on the relevant page at checkout.

6. Shipping, Delivery, Exchanges & Refunds

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including the Archival name, logo, seal mark, product designs, photography, and written content — is the property of Archival and protected under applicable Indian intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content commercially without our prior written permission.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to interfere with the site's security or functionality
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent order or payment information
  • Reproduce, resell, or scrape site content without permission

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Archival is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products purchased through it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the order giving rise to that claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our operations or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date below will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the site are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
